LYIT STUDENTS TO GRILL GENERAL ELECTION CANDIDATES

first_imgStudents at Letterkenny’s LYIT are eagerly looking forward to the General Election hustings event hosted by the Students Union on the 17th of February.The Students Union have met with the class rep council, and a range of different societies such as public speaking and the law society in preparation for the upcoming event.Spokesperson for the Students Union Dylan McGowan said  “This is a great opportunity for students and staff members to voice their concerns and views in the upcoming election”.Organisations such as the USI (Union of Students Ireland) and TUI (Teachers Union of Ireland) will be present to represent national views and education.
