Brentford striker completes Coventry switch

first_img Striker Nick Proschwitz 1 Coventry City have signed Brentford striker Nick Proschwitz on an emergency loan until the end of the season.The 28-year-old is available for selection straight away and could make his debut against MK Dons at the Ricoh Arena this Saturday.Coventry are still on the hunt for a new manager after sacking Steven Pressley on Monday, but interim manager Neil MacFarlane has acted swiftly to bring in Proschwitz.“We’re delighted to bring in a player we’ve been tracking at this club for a long time,” MacFarlane told Coventry’s website.“Nick is your typical target-man who can bring others into play and will give us an added threat in the forward areas.“We’ve got a crucial game against MK Dons at the weekend and he’ll go straight into contention for the game, and I’m sure he’ll have a positive impact from now until the end of the season.”last_img read more
