Kentucky woman pleads guilty to sex trafficking 2 women

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) – A Kentucky woman has pleaded guilty to sex trafficking two women and faces up to almost 20 years in prison.The U.S. Justice Department said 41-year-old Cleoretta Allen of Louisville pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court to two counts of sex trafficking and one count of interstate transportation for prostitution.- Advertisement – Prosecutors said Allen used violence, threats, fear and intimidation to coerce the women to engage in commercial sex acts in 2017 in the Louisville area. The Justice Department said in a news release that Allen transported the women across state lines.The release said the women contacted police, resulting in Allen’s arrest.Allen faces 15 to 19 ½ years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 per count as well as restitution.
